New to Freemasonry?

Who Can Join?
Freemasonry is open to men who:
- Are at least 18 years old
- Believe in a Supreme Being (however personally defined)
- Are of good character and reputation
- Are able to join of their own free will and accord
- What to Expect as a Candidate
Applying to join our Lodge is not a transaction; it’s the beginning of a journey. If you express interest:
- You’ll be invited to meet some members informally
- There may be an interview or home visit
- If accepted, you’ll begin your Masonic journey with the Entered Apprentice degree
- Advancement through the degrees is by merit, reflection, and participation

Already a Freemason?
We welcome visiting brethren from all constitutions and enquiries from those wishing to affiliate under a constitution committed to the true tenets of Freemasonry. Please get in touch with our Secretary and come along and experience our lodge.

Clydesdale Lodge was granted a warrant by the Grand Lodge of Scotland in 1896 and given the number 821. Discusions about the formation of a Grand Lodge of Queensland commenced in 1898. The Clydesdale Lodge subsequentially became warranted under the Grand Lodge of Queensland and given the number 29. Read more:
