Welcome to the Clydesdale Lodge Website (“Website”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and participation in the Certificate of Masonic Education course (“Course”) provided by Clydesdale Lodge (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By registering for the Course, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not register for or access the Course.

1. Course Registration and Eligibility

To participate in the Certificate of Masonic Education, you must register by providing accurate and complete information. Registration requires the following details:

• Full Name (First and Last)
• Email Address
• Lodge Name and Number
• Current Masonic Rank
• Grand Lodge Affiliation

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your registration.

2. Fees and Optional Donations

The Certificate of Masonic Education is provided completely free of charge.

Participants have the option to make a voluntary donation to support the program. Donations can be made in amounts ranging from $10 AUD to $90 AUD. Because these are voluntary contributions, donations are generally non-refundable. Making a donation is not a requirement for registration, participation, or completion of the Course.

3. Course Structure and Completion Requirements

The Course is divided into 8 modules. To successfully complete the Course and be awarded the Certificate of Masonic Education, participants must:

• Complete all mandatory assignments at the end of each of the 8 modules.
• Complete any required optional assignments as directed by the course curriculum.

Upon successful review of your completed assignments, you will be awarded the Certificate of Masonic Education.

4. Mentorship and Support

• Lodge Mentor: Each registered participant will be assigned a Lodge Mentor to guide them through the Course.
• Video Conferencing: We offer monthly online video conferencing support sessions. These sessions provide an opportunity for participants to discuss course content, ask questions, and interact with mentors and peers.

Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with Masonic values—showing respect, tolerance, and courtesy—during all interactions with mentors and during video conferences.

5. Privacy and Third-Party Services

We are committed to protecting your personal information. By registering for the Course, you consent to the collection and use of your registration data for course administration purposes.

Use of Google API for Communications: Please be aware that our Website utilizes a third-party Google API to manage and send automated email communications to registered users. To facilitate this, the system will parse and securely process your First Name, Last Name, and Email Address. By using this Website, you consent to the processing of this specific data through the Google API solely for the purpose of delivering essential Course updates, mentor communications, and administrative notices.

6. Intellectual Property

All course materials, including text, assignments, videos, and documentation provided through the Website, are the intellectual property of Clydesdale Lodge or its content creators. You may use these materials for your personal Masonic education but may not distribute, reproduce, or monetize them without explicit written permission from Clydesdale Lodge.

7. Modifications and Termination

Clydesdale Lodge reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of any significant changes via email. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate a user’s access to the Course if they violate these Terms or engage in conduct unbecoming of the Craft.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Course and all related materials are provided “as is.” Clydesdale Lodge makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the availability, accuracy, or uninterrupted access to the Website or Course content. Clydesdale Lodge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Website or participation in the Course.
